1 - 31 - 12 A cross-section of styles today, from a guy who lives in Brooklyn with a wrap-type of headgear, a lawyer looking snappy in his tweed cap, a tall guy who is from Santa Fe but is here working the modeling circuit, looking relaxed in his jeans and hooded sweatshirt. On the line for his vegie lunch, this guy's stripes and knit cap looked interesting, too.

1 - 30 - 12 Walking in the garment district, liked Tommy's up sweep hair in the front, cool scarf and distressed jeans. He's originally from Seattle, now makes NYC his home and working in the fashion industry. I, also ran into Austin again and practically in the same spot, where I photographed him before, wearing the clothes that he designs. Loved his multi-colored bomber jacket and fur hat, looking cool.

1 - 28 - 12 Spotted Gordon who was heading out of Grand Central Station to go to the Outsiders Art Fair, where he has some of his paintings on display.

His card that he gave me features one of his works, very impressive. Like his bright colored pants that he said are Dior. He's a tall, handsome guy. Over on 42nd & Broadway this guy's graffiti-like clothing couldn't be missed. He told me he was from Brooklyn. Then I saw a guy who is visiting from Australia, neat hair and graphic pants from Urban Outfitters.

1 - 19 - 12 Near 42nd & Madison, noticed this guy's fur jacket and liked his dark hair that is wavy, along with his large black-framed sunglasses. Near 42nd & Fifth and walking with a skateboard, took him aside to photograph him and notice his black/white striped earring and his beetle-bug pin on his jacket, also liked this tall guy's overlook that included his wrap-around scarf and vest and told me that he is getting his look-book together.

1 - 16 - 12 Couldn't miss Lloyd who was dressed in orange at 42nd & Madison said he was from New Rochelle and was shopping for a new suit. Along West 42nd St, like this guy who was wrapped up in his scarf and this cute guy who said he has been in the city for 2 weeks, arrived from LA and has an artist internship in Williamsburg for a few months, all of 21 yrs. of age.

1 - 7 - 12 Walking along 42nd St. where I saw this handsome guy with a cool fur vest on, green pants and tortoise-shell eyeglasses. Further west, liked this guys, goggle-like glasses atop his knit cap. In Hell's Kitchen, he said he was from Japan and studying at Parson's, neat hair.

1 - 6 - 12 Walking in the West 40's today and saw Austin Paul, who is a designer and wearing the silver pants that he made. Went well with the big scarf around his neck and black fur trapper's hat. On West 42nd St., liked this guy's jophurs that he had on, along with his big leather bag. Also, on 42nd St. and into fashion and does the fashion shows in NYC, is the handsome guy with the shaved head and cool outfit, looking sharp.

12 - 31 - 11 Almost to the New Year and the city is bustling with crowds, who are already heading to Times Square for tonite's big party. 12 - 24 - 11 Xmas eve and busy on 34th St. when I saw these guys, all in their combat boots, striped sweaters, scarves, mustard colored pants, wool hat and neat earrings in their ears, along with someone wearing a pair of black-framed eyeglasses. Even Edward Scissorhands posed for me, too.

12 - 23 - 11 On East 42nd St., wearing an army-green wool military-style, thigh-length coat with two rows of gold buttons on the chest, had a hood on his head from the sweatshirt under it, tight jeans that were tucked into his black combat boots. West 42nd St,, dressed in all black and accented with a gold tie and gold pins on his blazer's lapel. Couldn't miss the large gold-toned spike ring on his finger.

12 - 22 - 11 Near the NY Public Library, he said he was originally from Mexico and has been working in NYC for five years with a cosmetic company. Looking sharply dressed for work in a grey suit blazer, blue tie/shirt and black pants. His black leather shoes had patent tips. Some facial hair and had on a pair of brown framed eyeglasses. Nearby, another guy who is visiting from Madrid, Spain and wearing mustard colored pants that looked snappy while doing holiday shopping. Near Bryant Park, this gentleman told me that he lives in NYC and Paris and had a French accent. Liked his striped tween wool hat, round clear eyeglasses, scarf around his neck, blazer jacket, faded jeans and Converse black sneakers. On West 42nd St. liked this guy's large grey wool scarf that was wrapped around his neck and also worn atop his head, looking cool.

large black sunglasses, logo cap. Fifth Ave. & 42nd St., Mike said he was from Poland, black knit skull cap, full at the back of the head, wrap around blue scarf over his denim jacket, black jeans. Same corner, Paul from NYC and is an actor, also in black sunglasses, black scarf around his neck and over his knit skull cap, looking warm on this cold day. In a black leather zippered jacket, cross-over bag and cool facial hair.

12 - 17 - 11 At 40th & Broadway, Justin told me he was from London, in NYC for the day til his flight at 10:00 pm. Wore a scarf around his neck, tweed overcoat, black framed clear glasses with loose, curly hair, jeans and had a shoulder bag. Near Bryant Park, another Justin who is from Puerto Rico and wore all shades of gray. A gray leather jacket, gray shirt under it, gray pants that showed off his ankle boots. His hair was stylish and had stud earrings.

Nearby, another guy who had on a silver-studded motorcycle jacket, black jeans, black combat boots, black framed clear eyeglasses, turquoise scarf tucked into his jacket, gray knit cap and a silver nose-ring. Another guy with black framed clear eyeglasses, knit hat, plaid shirt worn under black jacket, black jeans and combat boots.

12 - 4 - 11 On East 42nd St., this guy looking relaxed in faded jean jacket with a neat graphic t-shirt under it, loose khaki pants, red cap, red sneakers and a pair of cool black Ray-Ban Wayfarers. West 42nd St. his bleached white hair stood out with his dark eyebrows and facial hair, along with wearing an orange wool trench coat over cuffed faded jeans. Coming out of Grand Central Station and walking to Madison Ave. he wears a short-zippered front black leather jacket, dark khaki pants that were tucked into black leather high top boots.

11 - 27 - 11 From Taiwan, graduate of Cooper Union at the corner of 44th & Third Ave. looking stylish in peacoat, worn-in jeans tucked into gray laced-up leather boots with a gray scarf around his neck. Told me that he got his haircut in Taiwan, shaved at the sides and front combed onto his forehead.At 42nd St. & Fifth, wearing a royal blue button-down cardigan with a gold emblem crest on the chest and white stripes on the sleeves, jeans, carrying a large satchel bag on his arm, black sunglasses and neatly trimmed hair. On East 54th St., noticed this guy's cool shaven head with facial hair, wearing a tan denim jacket, gray t-shirt under it with a silver dog-tag necklace, black jeans to the knees and black leather combat boots.

12 - 2 - 11 At 34th & Seventh Ave. this guy had gorgeous, long dreadlocks which fell over his shoulders on onto the front of his chest and the ends were blondish, went well with his facial hair. Soft-looking brown vest under his wo0l black overcoat, worn-in jeans with a scarf loose around his neck. Around the corner was a very tousled dark-black hair guy with thick dark eyebrows and a bit shy. He wrapped a black scarf around his neck, tan jacket and black jeans. Also, on 34th St., the turquoise sneakers were noticeable in the crowd of people, worn with a plaid shirt under a grey hooded jersey shirt, with the hood upon his head. His relaxed, full hair looked cool.

11 - 26 - 11 On 42nd St. wearing an open black jacket with t-shirt under it, jeans tucked into his white sneakers with the tongues out, had on black sunglasses which accented his black spiky hair that stood straight up in the front. This cute guy from Puerto Rico, who didn't speak English, wore a yellow cardigan with his shirt tails hanging out from it, light orange pants and a cross-over bag. Loved that beauty mark on his cheekbone. The leaning against a wall, told me he was originally from N.C. and living in Jersey City, cute cap atop his head and faded very wide-leg jeans. The guy on 34th St, wore a large gray scarf wrapped around his neck, cap, black leather jacket, tight black jeans in ankle brown leather boots with a silver necklace around his neck.Near Madison Ave. 42nd St., his close-cropped sides of hair, fuller on top, showed off his chiseled face features, black scarf around neck and black leather jacket. Near Grand Central Station, wearing a navy blue sweatshirt, red pants and a draped white scarf and white knit cap.

11 - 19 - 11 On West 42nd St. this NYU student had on a pair of large black sunglasses, plaid shirt under denim jacket, tight black jeans that were tucked into ankle combat boots. His friend, also a NYU student, wore extra large black sunglasses, striped t-shirt under blue jacket, khaki pants and black ankle combat-like boots. In front of the NY Library, this neatly dressed guy had on a pair of black framed clear eyeglasses, knit cap, blazer jacket with cuffed jeans and carried the hard-cover book on Steve Jobs. On Fifth Ave, with his miniature poodle, wearing a black knit skull cap, large gray scarf wrapped around his neck, tan blazer, jeans and blue sneakers.

11 - 12 - 11 Walking on West 42nd St. with his twin brother , both had dark black hair, combed back off of foreheads, shaved sides and wore large sunglasses. A black suit jacket with a mesh-like frayed shawl around his shoulders and carried a blue Pan Am bag. His twin also had on large black sunglasses, red t-shirt under a red and blue striped cardigan, jeans tucked into ankle high leather gray boot, silver ball piercings on his lower lip. On West 40th St., Markus was going to a fashion show and he had on black framed eyeglasses with no glass in them, stud earrings, ski-motif pull-over sweater, cuffed jeans and carried a cross-over bag. Fifth Avenue were two guys window shopping from Montreal and wearing a large black scarf under his black leather jacket, shaved side of hair which was swept over the front of his forehead, black sunglasses. His friend wore a gray scarf, double-breasted short jacket, gray fingerless gloves, frameless shield-like black sunglasses, faded jeans and close cropped hair. Loved these happy clothes and said he was from Senegal, Africa and proudly wore the clothes. Had on an Army green jacket, graphic t-shirt under it and very cool multi-multi-colored loose pants and topped it off with a purple knit cap.

11 - 5 - 11 Near Hell's Kitchen flea market on 9th Ave., Devon who was stylishly dressed in his own men's designer's clothes and looking very sleek in his tailored suit jacket with vest, light blue dress shirt, jeans cuffed and tan shoes. Rambo, who does hip-hop music and dress in all black, at the corner of 7th & 30th St. Black vest, rolled up sleeves on his shirt and a multi-colored rope-like belt which almost touch the

ground. Lots of necklaces layered around his neck, leather wristbands and neat hair tied up on the top of his head in a small knot. This guy's hair was long and free-blowing in the wind at the next corner on 7th Ave. Wearing large clear eyeglasses, a high-collared white shirt with embroidery on the edges, short leather jacket, corduroy tan pants and ankle boots with a great smile. From Norway and standing at 42nd St. & Fifth, wearing a knit cap, small cotton scarf tied around neck, graphic t-shirt, interesting pants with leather patches on the knees, black sneakers with orange soles.

10 - 30 - 11 From Belgium and was going into the H&M store at 42nd & Fifth Avenue. Noticed his faded jeans with a wide cuff at the bottoms with an interesting belt on them, brown leather ankle boots, black slim wool jacket and had a cross-over messenger bag on him. And a shaved head. At the same corner and whom I photographed before, told me that he designed women's clothing. Wearing a large black flt hat, large paisley brown scarf draped around his neck, a tan wool kilt over tights, wool sweater under a large overcoat.

10 - 28 - 11 Alexander who is originally from Puerto Rico was walking near 42nd St. & 11th Ave.
Looking handsome with jet black hair, some facial hair, extra-large black sunglasses and the requisite black clothes under his long brown overcoat. Further east on 42nd St, Bryce walking by with a large black scarf around his neck, black knit cap, plaid shirt, faded jeans with large hole in the knee and high-top sneakers. On Fifth Avenue and from Japan, shaggy-bleached hair, white shirt, black pants and stand-out purple sneakers. From South Korea with long black hair in the front, dressed all in black with white leather shoes and carrying a large YSL bag over his shoulder.

10 - 22 - 11 At 41st & Broadway and looking very ethically dressed with black baggy jersey, no fly front pants on, on one-piece tan tunic-type jacket on and around his neck a purse-like small leather bag and ankle boots. His hair was a braided bun that sat on the top on his head, where the rest of his hair was shaved. The 2nd guy today wearing those baggy jersey, no fly front pants who was at 8th and 40th St. The pants look super comfortable and can be unisex. He had on a knit hat, plaid scarf and high-top sneakers with a leather bomber jacket. Walking in Hell's Kitchen Flea Market, saw Rene, who said I photographed him before. His black hair was combed back off his forehead, large sunglasses, striped jacket and interesting faded out jeans with tan leather shoes. On 9th Ave., liked the plaid long scarf, worn loose around his neck, khaki pants and high-top shoes. This guy got dressed up to walk around Times Square with a black velvet suit jacket with vest and bow-tie and from D.C.

10 - 21 - 11 At 34th & 6th Ave. this guy is from S. Korea and is here studying design. Wearing a blue blazer, white t-shirt under it and short black pants with no socks, black leather shoes. Interesting hair going on with shaved sides and spike black hair on the top. I noticed that he had lots of large rings on his fingers. Also, at same corner, saw the purple shirt with tie under a plaid suit jacket and stand-out large, clear eyeglasses. Walking towards Fifth Ave., the bowler hat sitting back on this guy's head, was eye-catching. He told me he's from Connecticut and goes to grad school. Liked his large plaid scarf wrapped around his neck, black puffy jacket, black jeans.
Korie told me that I photographed him before near H&M and now doing the same on Fifth Ave.
Stylishly dressed in a tan leather zip-front jacket, plaid scarf, cool leather belt, tight jeans that revealed his brown leather ankle boots.

10 - 20 - 11 At Fifth Ave. & 43rd St., Leif is wearing large black sunglasses and his hair is dyed a cool green on top, black leather bomber jacket over a multi-colored red top with braided tassels hanging from the bottom, a very African vibe. Further down Fifth Ave. at 34th St. is Harold wearing a multi-color scarf wrapped around his neck, a multi-color cap, cuffed slim jeans with his high-top sneakers and a blue t-shirt. At 6th Ave., I noticed the silver ball piercing thru this nose and lower lip, black jeans tucked into his black leather laced-up combat boots and a horn necklace around his neck.

10 - 15 - 11 Walking around Hell's Kitchen Flea Market on a mild, blue sky day and noticed Denny wearing a cap with the word Classic written on the front and very large black-framed clear eyeglasses, red blazer with a white t-shirt under it, black jeans which were cuffed at the bottoms to reveal his ankle high, laced-up black leather ankle boots. Also, at the Flea Market, I noticed Eric who was wearing a floral button-down cotton smoking jacket, black turtleneck under it, silver thin, wire framed, huge clear eyeglasses, very unique-looking. Had on black jeans and had a tote bag on his shoulder. On 42nd St. and looking cool, he said he was in a band called "Head Monsters" and was playing a club on the Lower Eastside that nite. Liked his long, dark hair under his knit cap, beads around his neck, blue plaid worker's shirt with a white tank under it and a touch of hair under his lower lip. Another plaid shirt was tied around his waist, jeans and sandals, did the total look.

10 - 14 - 11 From Japan and standing by a building on Fifth Ave. & 42nd St. Has very long hair which is past his shoulders and bleached in the front and dark black in the back, giving him a feminine look. His eyebrows looked shaped and thin. Wearing a tight, lightweight tan pullover, black jeans and black leather sandals. In same area, wearing a white hooded sweatshirt over his head and a white t-shirt , under a denim jacket, turquoise shorts, blue canvas slip-ons and a large red watch. Also, on Fifth Ave. and wearing a tan v-neck sweater with a black shirt under it, black jeans and standout clear eyeglasses in large black frames, accenting his facial hair of beard and mustache, along with a silver nose ring. In front of the H & M store, wearing a gray cap on his head, gray puffy vest with a white pullover under it, washed out jeans and a necklace around his neck. His friend wore a vest and a scarf loosely draped around his neck.

10 - 6 - 11 Near Bryant Park, I saw Lee who had a large sunglasses, hair combed up and off of his forehead, longish sideburns, khaki pants, tailored black jacket. A classic look for work. This guy at the corner of 41st. & Fifth Avenue had his hair pulled back and tied in a small pony-tail. I noticed that the ends of his hair were orangish in color, perhaps dyed at one point, making an interesting look. Wore a short leather jacket, paid shirt, brown leather shoes and black sunglasses. At the corner of 42nd & Fifth Avenue and from Italy, wore large sunglasses, scarf tied around his neck, and a religious emblem-looking t-shirt under and army-navy green cargo jacket.

10 - 5 - 11 On Fifth Avenue in the 40's, wearing a paisley ascot tucked at the neckline, under a white button-down shirt and had a blue cardigan sweater on. His mustard-colored pants were a standout on him, navy blue leather shoes, all making him look neatly dressed. Walking along 42nd St. and approaching the corner of Fifth Avenue, another stylishly dressed guy who had a yellow bow-tie, tan sports jacket with a white shirt under it, jeans, aviator sunglasses, mustache and full hair on top on his head and carrying a large brown leather satchel. Looking-good.

9 - 16 - 11 From Brooklyn and walking on West 42nd St. with orange hair that was dyed on the top, shaved side, black button-down jersey, over black t-shirt. His friend wore large black framed clear eyeglasses, hair cut straight across the front of his forehead, trench coat and black jeans. This guy said he was a future designer and dressed in all black. Had on an interesting overall-like with suspenders over his t-shirt, black short jersey pants, black socks, black leather shoes. His jet-black hair covered the top of his forehead. A fashion student, also with cool hair and shaved sides, aviator sunglasses, brown beads around his neck, striped jersey, jeans rolled-up at the bottoms, high-top leather shoes. Liked this guy's colorful hair, goes along with his cool attitude.

9 - 15 - 11 He said his name was Justin and had blond tousled hair and a cute wisp of hair on his chin. Looking good in a blue shirt with sleeves rolled-up, black tie, black vest, black pants with a silver chain hanging off pant loop. A sweater's arms were tied across his chest. Also, in the 30's on Westside and standing perfectly at the corner, all dressed in a black suit with the jacket draping his shoulders, black t-shirt under it, pair of sunglasses tucked in the front of his t-shirt, sockless in his black emblem front slip-on shoes. This bright red graphic button-down shirt was eye-catching, along with the necklace around his neck. Couldn't miss this guy's flamboyant, full hair on the top of his head and shaved sides with one-piece sunglasses, black jeans, jacket with white shirt and tie. This Japanese guy had longish hair in the front, dressed all in black with a long, sleeveless overcoat, graphic black t-shirt under it. Another Japanese guy near FIT with tousled hair, blue blazer with sleeves pushed-up, short black pants, black high-top leather shoes, striped t-shirt.

9 - 8 - 11 He's from Sweden, wearing extra-large black framed sunglasses and a shaved head, with his jeans cuffed at the bottom and stood near Sak's Fifth Avenue. Walking to work at Cole Haan's, liked this guy's tweed hat, aviator sunglasses, showing off his reddish facial hair. His blue dress shirt had the sleeves rolled up, revealing his tattooed arms, brown pants, carrying a canvas carpenter's bag and laced-up Cole Haan shoes. Near Bryant Park, he said his name was Jazz and had on a graphic t-shirt under this denim jacket, grey jeans, bright yellow shoelaces on his sneakers, cool hair going on with shaved sides and a pouf on top. In Times Square the Naked Cowboy was doing his thing in his white briefs, cowboy hat and boots. This guy, nearby wore a
large pair of black-framed sunglasses and graphic t-shirt.

9 - 1 - 11 Walking near Bryant Park on 42nd St., I noticed this guy with wild looking hair and partially colored orange, had facial hair and had on a pair of black framed eyeglasses. He wore a cool red skull scarf, tied around his neck, black sweater, wrist bracelets and jeans. The next guy who was nearby, also had interesting hair going on. His was shaved on the sides and a Mohawk going down the center, earrings, black aviator sunglasses, turquoise t-shirt, under a grey cardigan and grey jeans. At the corner of Fifth Ave. & 42nd St., I noticed this guy's silver armband and silver cuff bracelet that he made. Liked his dangling gold earring and necklace and has on a black tank top and cargo pants. This guy was neatly dressed and told me he was a student, studying Chinese. Crisp plaid shirt with the sleeves rolled up, very tight jeans and sockless, brown suede emblem front shoes.

8 - 19 - 11 Handsome guy wearing a black, graphic t-shirt, showing off his muscled arms, large aviator sunglasses and walking near NY Public Library on 42nd St. This next guy on same block said he is from Honduras, in a turquoise t-shirt, rosary beads as necklace, aviator sunglasses, stud black earrings and a silver-link chain hanging from his pant belt loop of his tight black jeans. Neat graphic light blue sneakers. Another guy on 42nd St. who is from South Korea and spoke perfect English, hot pink derby hat and matching hot pink t-shirt, plaid Bermuda shorts, clear black framed eyeglasses. This blond-hair guy was tall, really tall, 6' 11", wore a tight blue blazer, jeans and converse sneakers.

8 - 11 - 11 An array of guys hailing from the Bronx, Brooklyn, Harlem and the tourist from Barcelona, Spain. Walking on 42nd St., on the side of NY Public Library, this guy wore his tan cap sideways, a red Hollister t-shirt and black-and-white frames on his sunglasses. On Fifth Ave. in front of the library, this guy's hair was eye-catching, almost white and very Billy Idol-like, looking stunning on him, especially dressed in all black. Tight black jeans, black t-shirt, black sunglasses, some necklaces around his neck and cool facial hair. On 34th St. he told me he was from Barcelona, Spain, spoke little English, but understand that I wanted to photographed him. Well-cut hair, earrings in his ear, facial hair, carried a cross-over bag over his chest, brown jeans and a graphic t-shirt. 8 - 4 - 11 At 34th St., I noticed this guy's hair which was shaved on the sides of his head and a Mohawk on top. He wore a black-and-white striped t-shirt under a blue shirt with the sleeves rolled up. I saw the name Jimmy in script on his neck as a tattoo and adorned his wrists with lots of colorful string wrist bracelets. This guy wore a summer Fedora hat on his head, facial hair and wore all black with a crucifix around his neck. The Japanese guy with wavy, full hair, I found unusual since this culture usually has very straight hair and was mostly dressed in all white. A
white shirt opened, revealed a striped t-shirt under it and white jeans with black leather shoes.
His turquoise necklace was a delicate jewelry accent. Back on Fifth Avenue, the guy with the tortoise shell framed sunglasses and turquoise knit skull cap, told me he was from Virginia.
Kevin, who I photographed before, I ran into on 42nd St. and had blond hair now and looks cute with it that color. He remembered me before, I remembered him. His bright pink shirt looked good on him, too and had on silver framed sunglasses, nice brown leather belt with an oval buckle around his tight jeans.

8 - 3 - 11 In Chelsea to visit some galleries and to walk the Highline, I noticed this guy casually standing against a graffiti wall in his graphic red t-shirt, black jeans and sporting facial hair. Also, on 22nd St. this dapper guy wore khaki pants, rolled -up at the bottom, sockless in his black leather shoes, vest, tie and a blue shirt with the sleeves rolled-up. His black framed eyeglasses looked smart on him and went well with his facial hair.

7 - 28 - 11 Walking on 34th St., I spotted Ronnie again, who I photographed before and today had a very different look. He said he works in the Aldo shoe store and wore a pink tailored button-down tailored shirt which he wore outside his black jeans. Also, had on a black tie and this time his hair was curly on top, showing off his well manicured eyebrows. Walking up Fifth Ave. this guy said he was from Malaysia and spoke a little bit of English. Had on black Ray-ban sunglasses, black stud earrings and black beads around his neck. Had on tan Birkenstock sandals with his cut-off Bermuda shorts.

7 - 21 - 11 Fedora straw hats are everywhere and on this guy's head, who is from Japan and walking on Fifth Avenue. Casually dressed in gray cargo pants, denim shirt with a pocket scarf, black flip-flops and a neat mustache and goatee. On 34th St. another guy in a white straw fedora hat, yellowed rimmed on-frame sunglasses, plaid Bermuda shorts, lime-green t-shirt and wearing a large wristwatch and sporting chain necklaces. Over at 34th & Seventh, I caught a guy exiting a backdoor to Victoria's Secret, where he works. Dressed in all black, including a Yankee cap, lip piercings and interesting sideburns. He said he was 21 yrs. old. This neat guy with long dread-locks which caught my eye, said his name was Winston. Wore tortoise frame eyeglasses, suit jacket, slim black jeans and tan suede chukka boots, topped off by a really nice smile.

6 - 30 - 11 In Bryant Park, Dandy wore a three-piece summer suit, pink bow tie, a tilted tan straw hat, a yellow flower in his buttonhole and round antique metal framed sunglasses. He looked classic and stylish, quite a standout amongst the crowd. Hats prevailed today and this guy on West 42nd St. had on a white straw hat. At 36th St. & 8th Ave. this guy wore a sleeveless denim vest, tan rolled-up pants with a raccoon fur tail hanging off of his belt and sockless leather shoes with their tongues out. Liked his shave sides of his hair that showed off his face and fuller on top. Next came another guy with shaved sides of his hair, too and much fuller on top, stud earrings, light blue cotton blazer, plaid shirt and tan shoes. Outside Grand Central Station, this guy wore his tan cap sideways, loose low slung jeans that revealed plaid red cotton boxers, white t-shirt and stands of beads around his neck. Very cool guy! All of them!

6 - 16 - 11 Walking along Fifth Ave. and Third Ave. and noticed a bright yellow shirt on Jorge. He had a pair of red suspenders holding up his seersucker pants, carried a green cotton shoulder bag, wore clear-framed eyeglasses, a full beard and shaved head. Very eclectic! Liked this guy's hair who had his dreadlocks tied in a ponytail, under his cap. Casually dressed in a white jersey top, over gray utility, rolled-up pants. Seeing the next guy, brought a smile to my face, who had everything going on at once. Wearing a red Hawaiian shirt, plaid Bermuda shorts with black knee-high socks and had a pair of sunglass frames attached his his eyeglasses that were worn up. This guy who I saw on Fifth Ave., said he was going to see the McQueen show "Savage Beauty" at The Met and was dressed for the occasion. Liked his blue, skull tank top, brown rolled-up pants, ankle-leather shoes, carried a shoulder bag, bracelets on his wrist and had on a pair of large black framed sunglasses. Neatly, coiffed-combed back hair and a touch of lipstick, too!

6 - 15 - 11 Lots of cool guys on 42nd St. and Fifth Avenue, where I saw this blond hair chap from Sweden. Liked his one-piece black sunglasses and wore a tailored button-down cotton, pink shirt over his black Bermuda shorts. Noticed that he was sockless in his black leather shoes.
Had a large black leather bag, which he wore the strap across his chest. Near Bryant Park, this cool dude wore a vest with a white shirt under it that hung over his maroon colored pants, tortoise shell framed sunglasses and his natural curly hair had bleached tips, making an unique contrast that looked really good. Couldn't miss the tattoo on his neck, too. I saw this tan-plaid cap coming my way, atop this guy's head, who was dressed all in black. He carried a large black leather bag and one's eye caught the ball-rhinestone bracelet at his wrist. On 42nd St., this guy who is from London, wore his wide-brim cap, sideways, along with white-framed sunglasses. Also, on 42nd St., Christian said he was from Germany. Liked his blond, shaggy hair, black sunglasses and the scarf that was loosely, draped around his neck.

6 - 1 - 11 Love this guy's hair, told me they were real, is from Jersey City, NJ, wore a black cap backwards, a sleeveless tight white t-shirt, revealing tattoo's on his arms, silver dog-tags on a long chair around his neck, short washed out jeans to his knees, high-top sneakers and was walking on West 42nd St. At the corner of 42nd & 6th Ave., this guy from Lima, Peru was wearing a bright yellow t-shirt, white shell necklace, white-framed sunglasses, tight jeans, white flip-flops and carried a leather shoulder bag. Another guy who I noticed with interesting hair at the corner of 42nd & 8th Ave. with all coils sticking up on his head, amusing-looking and looked good on him, wore relaxing clothes, shirt out over his jeans and laced-front suede tan shoes. Behind Port Authority on 9th Ave. stood this guy in a military-style outfit and said he lived nearby by and was into music. Noticed his pierced lip, lots of leather-cord necklaces around his neck, black high-top leather boots, large hat on his head.

5 - 26 - 11 On Sixth Ave. & 27th St., Jesus wore a sweater with blue & white diamond-front, a red & white stripe tie and serious looking black framed eyeglasses. In Chelsea, I noticed this guy's long light-blue cotton scarf that was draped casually around his neck and stood out from his all-white outfit of white jeans and t-shirt. Couldn't miss his silver sneakers and his golfer's white cap on his head, looking cool. Also, in Chelsea, the silver studs on this guy's black jacket were all on the shoulders. He wore his red cap backwards, a matching large red wristwatch, red handkerchief hanging from his back jean's pocket and wore extra-large black framed clear eyeglasses. My eye caught this guy's orange pants, along with his black & orange graphic t-shirt that was under his tan blazer jacket. Liked his neat hair, worn back and his corn-rows and a neat pair of large one-piece black sunglasses. On Fifth Ave., in the 30's along came this Japanese guy in Bermuda white shorts, white graphic t-shirt under a light-weight blue button-down cardigan with the sleeves pushed up, revealing lots of colorful, cord bracelets. He was sockless in his leather shoes, wore aviator sunglasses, carried a leather briefcase and had his hair in a high short ponytail. Looking good.

5 - 13 - 11 Saw this guy near Bryant Park and was visiting from Connecticut. His hair was tied back in a small ponytail and his face cheek had a temporary tattoo on it. He wore a NYC grey sweatshirt hoodie and carried a wristlet. On Fifth Avenue, I noticed how low his jeans were, which revealed his underwear and showed his YSL belt and belt buckle. Under his jean jacket, he wore a brown sweatshirt hoodie. Also, on Fifth Ave. the guy from Brooklyn, wore all black and his black cap was sideways. I noticed manicured eyebrows and his star earring. Near the Empire State Building, he said told me he was from Florence, Italy and very neatly and coordinately dressed in all shades of browns. Wearing a light tan scarf around his neck, brown leather wrist bands on both wrists, large framed sunglasses that showed off his close cropped sides of his hair and spiky on top.

5 - 6 - 11 Noticed the guy with the longish hair walking in front of me on East 43rd St. and caught up with him to take his photo. Stylishly dressed in office attire, white shirt, tie, jacket and noticed wool pants which were short on him, exposing his black socks. This guy on West 34th St. had a red/black checkered scarf tied around his neck over his red/gray and white argyle sweater. Wore black pants, sneakers and had facial hair. Also, near West 34th St. was this guy with spiky hair and said he was from France. Liked how he wore the scarf around his neck, like a bolero. Had on a European-looking gray short jacket, interesting pants and large black framed sunglasses. The Oriental guy on Fifth Ave. wore a pair of nice tan framed sunglasses, a white short sleeved shirt that had red/white checks on the sleeves. I noticed that he was carrying a dark-brown canvas Jack Spade bag and wore light blue Toms slip-ons. This guy was at the corner of 42nd St. & Fifth and noticed his black harem pants. He also showed me his tattoo of a women's face on his upper arm. Had on a royal blue t-shirt, under his blue jacket and a pair of antique-looking framed sunglasses. His hair was long, combed over his forehead.

On Fifth Ave. Dennis was wearing a 3-piece striped suit, white shirt and tie. His over-sized black framed clear glasses made his attire less conservative looking.

This runner guy, who didn't have much on, except for his running shorts and a jersey that he tied around his waist and another around his wrist. His face was sweaty and looked good with his tousled hair.

4 - 29 - 11 On 42nd St., near Grand Central Station, I noticed the gray pullover with all the holes in it, approaching me. Suni is his name and he also had on a knit blue cap, tied-back dread locks and facial hair. His jean were cuffed and had laced-up black leather ankle boots. Walking on Fifth Ave., this guy wore a short-sleeve shirt, with a black tie, clear glasses and his hair was curly on top. Obviously, he was on his lunch-break, from being an legal assistant. I noticed his wrist-written tattoo and he explained to me the translation and it was beautiful words, which I forget to be able to add in here. Also, on Fifth Ave. this guy had on a t-shirt with a graphic figure on it and hung out from his short jean jacket. He had on a pair of black Ray-Ban wayfarer sunglasses and I noticed his full-arm tattoos. This next guy, I liked his green-lined cap with his loose dread-locks flowing out from underneath.

At the 42nd & 9th, along came Campbell, who said his name is like the soup, whose orange pants stood out on a drabby day, tan car coat and white classic polo dress shirt under it. His hair was what caught my eye, neat-looking, different for a guy's style which was bouffant on the top, feminine-looking making his hair very interesting. Had on tight jeans that were tucked into high-top black sneakers and wore a pair of large black sunglasses. Some facial hair showed off his good-looking face. Walking towards 9th Ave. on 38th St., a guy dressed all in black with long-hair to his shoulders and flowing in the wind was approaching. He was nicely dressed with a black scarf around his neck, black pants, black jacket, black leather shoes and black framed clear eyeglasses. Jason at the corner of 38th St. was already posing for me. He said he was a model and his face clearly revealed his handsomeness. He had striking, light blond full hair, black jeans, military-style jacket, large pair of black framed sunglasses and a messenger bag, slung across his chest.

He had on a puffy gray vest over a blue/white plaid shirt that hung out over his black jeans which were cuffed at the bottoms. I noticed that he wore leather wrist bands on both wrists, sunglasses that showed off his close cropped hair, sexy facial hair, earrings in his ears and a cute dimple in his cheek. I stopped Shawn, near 35th & 8th Ave. looking neatly dressed in a tan blazer, tan sweater under it and white shirt with a tie. A handkerchief stuck out of his blazer's pocket. What was interesting was that he was wearing tailored camouflage pants and had a pair of leather gloves sticking out of his back pocket and rolled cuffs that showed off his brown leather high-top shoes. His hair was neatly chopped up and had sexy facial hair.

The slim guy from Brooklyn was at 35th St. and wore all black. From a black knit cap which showed off the large disc earring in his earlobe and tight black jeans.

3 - 25 - 11 Patrick, who I spotted on 42nd St., near 8th Ave. told me that he goes to grad film school in LA. He had on a black leather motorcycle jacket, black skull knit hat, scarf draped around his neck, nice looking facial hair and had some wisps of his longish hair sticking out from his cool hat. An added stylish note was the leather gloves sticking out of his back pocket. Stevie said he was from Brooklyn, repeated his name to me, like Stevie Wonder. He also had on a black leather motorcycle jacket and wore a denim shirt under it and his jeans were tucked into a pair of green leather high tops. Scarf around his neck, shoulder bag and a cool black derby-like hat topped his look. Walking, also on 42nd St. was a gentleman who said he recently moved back to NYC. He stood out in his yellow blazer, leather gloves, scarf around his neck, sporting sunglasses, jeans and a cap. Near Bryant Park another guy was approaching with his jeans tucked into his high-tops, carried a shoulder bag and had neat style hair which was closely shaved on the sides and curly hair on the top of his head. Tall and slim, looking neat. Across from Grand Central Station was a guy who said he was originally from Germany but now lives in Brooklyn. He wore a heavy button-down cardigan sweater, scarf around his neck, black sunglasses and his hair was sleeked straight back off of his forehead, which made him look European. Khaki pants and white shirt combo was a Brooks Brothers look.

Wore black jeans, black sunglasses. On 42nd St., Chris from Brooklyn had layers on under his denim jacket. A lite blue t-shirt under a beige button down cardigan. He had on a knit skull cap that looked like it was full of his hair in the back, fingerless gloves, black jeans tucked into his brown leather ankle boots. Also, on 42nd St. Kendall had on a pea coat, gray scarf around his neck, carried a black leather shoulder bag, large sunglasses and short curly dread locks. The Japanese guy on 42nd St., wore all black, including a skirt over a his black jeans and his bleached blond hair was eye-catching.

2 - 26 - 11 Walking on Fifth Ave. in the 40's, along came Wilfred, who said I photographed him before and easy to know why, when dressed very stylish. This time he wore a knit skull cap, a knit beige vest with a black heavy sweater under it, black scarf around his neck. His jophur-like jeans were rolled up at the bottoms and wore a white leather belt around his waist. Also, on Fifth Ave. this good-looking guy had on a jean jacket, black sweater under it, gray scarf around his neck and black leather pants. He wore large sunglasses and his hair was stylized, chopped up look with bits of hair sticking up at the top. He looked cool. Right after him and standing near Starbucks was a Japanese guy, whose white bangs were sticking out from under his black skull cap, looking very modern-like, especially with the silver hoop nose ring. His gray criss-crossed, loose sweater, hung out of his short, black leather bomber jacket. Wore tight black jeans and a black scarf around his neck. On East 53rd St., approaching me was Faisal, from Pakistan, looking very sharp and together, wearing bell-bottom jeans and a suede, patchwork jacket with bell-bottom sleeves and looked hand-made. He had a beige scarf tucked neatly into the collar of the jacket and wore a knit cap, which showed off his eyes and a patch of hair under his lip, along with the dimple in his chin. The guy with punkish blond hair was standing outside a bar on 2nd Ave. His rhinestone belt bucket on his jeans caught my eye, along with the aviator sunglasses.

The next guy at the same corner, visiting from San Francisco had an auburn tint to the front of his hair, red scarf around his neck red fingerless gloves that showed his light blue nail polish and wore a blue striped polo shirt under his short tan opened jacket. He had some facial hair and had on a large pair of black sunglasses.

2 - 7 - 11 The white fedora hat was a standout on 42nd St., atop the head of a male model from Latvia and who was in NYC for the shows this week. Chiseled face, high-check bones and had some strands of grey hair sticking out from the front of his hat and wisps fell over his eye. He had on baggy, washed out jeans, low-rise, belt around his waits and wore a black nylon jacket with a black turtleneck under it. He told me he was 23 yrs. of age and was with DNA, the modeling agent. I noticed this guy's very pointy, two-toned brown/tan shoes with metal tips at the corner of 43rd. & Lexington. He told me he was from Niger and had short curly hair, wore a knee-length, slim-wool coat, tan pants and a scarf around his neck.

Julien, from Paris, I noticed on Fifth Ave., wearing a knit skull cap, large black aviator sunglasses, a large gray scarf that was loosely draped around his neck, blue puffy jacket, jeans and had an army-green canvas messenger bag, crossed over his chest. He looked neatly put together. The 2nd Joey that I photographed today was on 9th Ave. & 40th St., wearing a brown fedora hat, white t-shirt under his blazer tan jacket, two scarves around his neck, one that had YSL symbols on it, along with a belt with an YSL buckle and a diamond square earring in one of his ears.

1 - 15 - 11 On 34th St., the guy who was dressed all in distressed leather said he was from Spain, spoke little English and was an international student, going to school in the city. He had on a distressed light blue, zippered front, short jacket with a red stripe going down the sleeve of the arms, wore tight brown leather pants which were tucked into his black leather combat boots. His hair was interesting which he wore pulled back into a ponytail, exposing lots of curls and were bleached looking from the front of his darker hair.

1 - 12 - 11 Howie, a long-haired, bleached blond guy at the corner of 38th & Eighth Ave., who also wore a wide head band scarf with skulls on it. Had on black tight jeans, combat boots and black leather jacket with a graphic black t-shirt under it. His sunglasses were great, very psychedelic with lots of multi-colors coming thru on the lenses and were wraparounds. There was also a tattoo on his check that looked like a lightning bolt. On 42nd St, the guy who said he was from the Bronx, wore a wool skull cap, large black-framed clear glasses, goatee on his chin, tight blue scar wrapped around his neck, black leather motorcycle jacket and his jeans were tucked into his black leather combat boots. 1 - 22 - 11 At Astor Place in the East Village and crossing the street was a guy who was decked out in a blue blower's hat, a short tight, double-breasted jacket that revealed his tight hip-hugging jeans that were cuffed at the bottoms, a brown belt around his hips and large pink scarf wrapped around his neck. His long black straight hair hung out at the front of his hat, over one eye and almost covering one side of his face. Looking very Culture Clubish. On the Bowery and smoking a cigarette, this guy was all in black. He wore a black leather cap, short motorcycle-like jacket, black jeans and had light facial hair around the sides of his face, down to his chin.

1 - 20 - 11 At 43rd & 6th Ave., he said that he didn't speak much English and was from Sardinia, Italy. He had on a red/black plaid flannel shirt, white turtleneck under it and a black puffy down jacket. His extra large, square framed sunglasses were a standout, along with his baldish head. I noticed his large wristwatch that he wore, had on worn-in jeans, green high-top sneakers and carried a large green canvas bag.

1 - 10 - 11 On 23rd St. , off of Fifth Avenue, I spotted Bobby and he mentioned to me that I have photographed him before in Union Square. He's always looking interesting and that is why, I did again, today. Atop his head was a plaid cap, wool fingerless gloves, wearing a denim jacket over a sweater and a gray long scarf that was draped around his neck. His jeans were cuffed at the bottom and showed off his leather high-tops. The guy sitting on the bench at Madison Square Park was dressed in the all-black outfit and said his name was Jameson, like in the liqueur and lived on the Lower Eastside. His hair was shaved on only one side of his head, wore a pair of black aviator sunglasses, black long scarf, black coat and black jeans.

1 - 8 - 10 Walking out of Starbucks on Third Ave. & 43rd, Rick who is from NYC was wearing a puffy gray nylon-zippered ski-like jacket, large gray scarf around his neck and high black boots with a wide band of brown around the top of them. He carried a large two-tone satchel on his shoulder. Steve from Staten Island, I had to stop, since he wore a beautiful, large brown wool shawl around his shoulders of his black overcoat. The shawl had fur fox-tails handing off of it, looking wonderful. Especially different was his hair, since one side was in a braid twist, never seen that before and looked good on him. He also had lite facial hair, wore black jeans and carried a large purple-cloth should satchel. He said he was in fragrance sales and also did design.

1 - 5 - 11 At 42nd & Fifth Ave., the guy in the fur-like trappers hat looked cool and noticed the black scarf over his gray jacket, black jeans, black leather shoes and carried a black leather messenger-type bag, wearing the strap across his chest. He said he was from Brooklyn, NY. Also at the same corner and similarly dressed, neat and cool, he also was wearing a large fur-like trapper's hat with the ear flaps down, a pair of black-framed, clear eyeglasses and had a thin-wisp of facial hair on his upper lip. His checkered black/white scarf was wrapped around his neck and tucked into his tan opened jacket. Hanging out of his jean's back pocket were a pair of gloves and wore dark brown and tan boots. Both handsome guys.

1 - 2 - 11 At 34th & Fifth Avenue, I saw a guy wearing a large pair of aviator sunglasses and a wool cap with ear flaps on his head, peeking out from under the front, I saw some wisps of bleached blond hair. Being a mild day, he just had on a graphic t-shirt, over a gray-long turtleneck polo, wrapped a long scarf around his neck and wore black leather gloves, said he was from Puerto Rico. The guy near Grand Central Station, was approaching with a houndstooth hat on his head, couldn't miss it. He said his name was Nori, lived in the East Village and worked on a magazine for Japanese people, called Chopstick. He had on a white, double-breasted jacket, black t-shirt under it, which exposed an "evil-eye" necklace, around his neck. His black jeans were tucked into his high-top brown leather shoes. Looked sharp.

1 - 1 - 11 Had to take a photo today, while walking north on Fifth Ave. in the 40's, I saw a guy who had on a wool cap, the ones with the braids on each side on his head and told me he got it in Paris, did say France on the front, a blue sweater under his brown wool jacket and headphones around his neck. His jeans were tucked into a pair of high-top sneakers, which were multi-colored and looked expensive, never seen them before. Nicely-dressed and nice looking, too. He told me he was from the Czech Republic and said his name, which I didn't understand. His English was pretty good.

12 - 31 - 10 At 34th & Fifth, the shaggy-haired blond guy stood out with his long straight bangs that fell to his eyebrows. It reminded me of a blond Beatlesque hair from way back when. His name was Louis from Belgium and wore a blue scarf around his neck. The sharp-looking black guy on 34th St., had interested hair going on. His sides were shaved and into circular swirls on his head. The top of his head had a mini-Mohawk fringe that went down the center part. It looked good on him. He wore a large black scarf, tightly wrapped around his neck and over his gray blazer-like jacket and his jeans were tucked into black leather combat boots. The last guy that I saw on 34th St. and had to photograph, wore green plastic fun eyeglasses celebrating New Year's with 2011 over his eyes. Atop his head was a multi-colored clown-like hat with Happy New Year on it. It was my last photo for the year and many more to take in the New Year!

12 - 22 - 10 Walking on 42nd St., towards Broadway, I quickly noticed the guy with the turquoise blue colored curly hair. He also had his eyebrow pierced, wore a turquoise colored, hoodie sweatshirt with a cartoon character on the front of it. Around his neck was wrapped a checkered black/white scarf and wore scruffy jeans. He said his named was Michael and was 21 yrs. of age. The next guy who I saw was sorta of dancing on the sidewalk and said his name was Daddy Love and that he was a model. He wore a light-brown leather, blazer like jacket that was opened and revealed a dark blue-button down sweater and had a large cross around his neck. He wore white framed sunglasses and tied a black scarf around his neck. His brownish colored jeans, looked stone-washed and wore a pair of brown pointy shoes with a design on them. After photographing him, he continued dancing.

12 - 20 - 10 Coming out of Grand Central Station, a hippie-like guy was approaching, said his name was Ibrain and was taking the train to Connecticut to visit his family. Said he was a traveller and wants to visit Guatemala. He wore brown-framed eyeglasses, had dreadlocks and trinkets in this braids. One which I noticed was of a moon & star, reminding me of my hippie days. He wore lots of multi-colored scarves around his neck, carried a satin-like pouch of a bag, wore a large scarf-like hat on his head, brown velvet pants that were tucked into his laced-up combat boots. Very interesting-look. The next guy further up on 42nd St., near Fifth Ave., this guy wore extra-large, plastic like one-piece black sunglasses, a very large gray scarf, wrapped around his neck, his opened jacket revealed a graphic t-shirt, under a small-checked shirt and his jeans were tucked into his high-top, laced-up combat-like boots. His shaved head looked neat, too, I liked it.

12 - 17 - 10 Walking on 42nd St., near Bryant Park, a guy from Tokyo and named Shin, had a black bowler's hat on this head that caught my eye. While he smoked a cigarette, I took him aside against the metal fence. His wore very baggy jeans that were cuffed at the bottoms, red plaid shirt under his short leather jacket. The ends of his hair that were sticking out from under his hat were bleached an Orange color. And he spoke English. The guy on 42nd St. near Broadway was bundled up for the cold. His fake fur trapper's hat was tied under his chin and his navy scarf was wrapped securely around his neck. A turquoise color t-shirt hung out from under this jacket that had some white designs on it and wore gray-jersey running pants. Said his name was Egarton.

12 - 14 - 10 In front of the H&M store at the corner of Fifth & 42nd St. was a oriental guy, wearing a large black fur trappers hat, black parka, black long scarf around his neck, black jeans and yellow high-top sneakers. The guy on 44th St. had two silver piercings on his lip, a cap on his head with graffiti on the front, with his hood from his sweatshirt on and over it. Wore a motorcycle jacket, studded belt on his low-ripped jeans.

12 - 12 - 10 Walking south on Fifth Ave. near 28th St., a Japanese guy, named Tim wore green rubber rain boots, a slouchy black sweatshirt over a gray long neck jersey t-shirt with black jersey pants, tucked into his rain boots. On his shoulder he carried a black bag that had a black stuffed animal attached to it. The next guy who came along said his name was Mohammed and had a very long scarf loosely around his neck that went down to his knees, wool hooded coat worn open, jeans tucked into his combat boots. His hair was closely cropped to his head and was dyed blond and wore very large, one-piece plastic sunglasses that looked like a shield. He was a tall guy and had a silver-ball piercing under his bottom lip.

12 - 12 - 10 Leaving Union Square area and walking on 16th St, a guy dressed in the uniform of all black was approaching. Upclose, he looked a little bit, like a young Elvis. He had jet black hair that he combed back off of his forehead, with a wisp of a curl and light facial hair. He wore a white t-shirt, under his long button down sweater, under his hooded, thigh-length coat with tight black jeans. Nice-looking guy.

12 -8 - 10 Walking on chilly 42nd St, along came a guy who was warmly dressed in a gray-knit trapper's hat with Mohawk fringe on top. I had him turn his head sideways, to get a better look. He wore a black wool jacket with white decals going down the length of the arms and a large white running horse was on the front of it. Black heavy gloves, stone-washed black jeans.

12 - 4 - 10 Walking on Ninth Ave., between 40th & 41st. St, I noticed a black guy with a large Afro hair crossing the street, also wore sunglasses, red scarf wrapped around his neck, gray jacket and black jeans. He looked neatly dressed with the touch of red scarf for the holidays.

11 - 25 - 10 Front of NY Public Library on Fifth Ave., stood a Japanese guy posing for a photo and took one of him, too. He wore a short, tight black one-button jacket, white shirt sticking out from under it with a black & gray scarf tied tightly around his neck, tight blue jean and had on a pair of clear-lenses, black framed eyeglasses. His hair looked stylish cut, choppy and fringe in the front, falling on his forehead. The guy at the corner of 33rd & Broadway wore a large black fur hat, looking really good on him and had a small goatee on his chin, wore slim black jeans and had a long white scarf around his neck that hung loose and a black overcoat, which he had opened.

11 - 19- 10 Walking along 40th St., near Madison Ave. were two cool guys from the band Mulholland Drive, getting a bite to eat from the nearby deli. They played Kenny's Castaway's in the Village on Fri. nite and playing a gig in Philly the next day. The guy that I took photos of wore a gray fedora over his scruffy hair and goatee, a black puffy jacket, tight lack jeans and black high-top sneakers. Very cool. The Japanese guy on 34th St. was a bit more subdued in his checkered shirt that he wore outside his jeans, thin clear framed eyeglasses and top it all off with diamond stud earrings in both his ears. The black guy standing in front of Victoria Secret's on 34th St. made me look at him, since I liked his long-dread locks that were down to his collar and under his black cap that he wore backwards. His oversized dark sunglasses were frameless, looking like one piece of plastic across his eyes, wore a black sweatshirt with a bright green face caricature on it, a black scarf wrapped around his neck, under a gray army jacket. On West 38th St., I noticed a tall, slim black guy approaching and his hair was noticeably unique. I loved his hair, very styled and haven't seen anything like it. His top hair was a long swirl of hair on this head and perfect and his sides of his hair was shaved, very unique. His eyes were covered in a pair of oversized black oval framed sunglasses, black sweatshirt, under a gray sweatshirt hoodie, gray sweatshirt pants that came to his knees, black socks and black high-top sneakers and a long-hanging necklace around his neck. Walking into Hell's Kitchen flea market, it has become one of my favorite places to visit, considering all the cool people who go and are in the neighborhood. I photographed this guy before and took him in front of a wooden wall, said his name was Zandra, wore a belted salmon colored dress, over tight gray pants and wore turquoise high top sneakers with lots of multi-colored bangles on his wrist and a broach on his dress, very outrageous, but individualistic, loved it. Nest was a guy dressed almost in all black, the New York code apparel, except for his gray fedora hat, black suit jacket, scarf wrapped around his neck, black jeans, black sunglasses and white shoes.

11 - 13 - 10 In Hell's Kitchen's flea market at 9th & 39th, a guy with dreadlocks, under his denim cap with paisley print on the top, stood by the military jackets. Took him aside, as he was wearing an army green, short jacket, a grey hoodie sweatshirt under it, tight jeans and had a light beard, looking good. The next guy, was into posing for me in torn jeans, tight gray, pullover sweater, very large aviator sunglasses and carried a shoulder bag and a little wisp of facial hair under his bottom lip. Gave me a nice smile for his portrait. The guy with two cameras across his chest, one he said was for film, the other digital was dressed in a 3-piece suit, each piece not matching, along with a tie and looked eclectic. He had necklace adornments around his neck, one large and a wood peace sign on a chord. Over his curly hair was a colorful knit cap. His wooden piercings thru one end of his ear and out the other, were eye-catching. Walking back to my apt. and on 9th Avenue, a very tall, slim guy, dressed in all black, stood out amongst the crowd of people. He wore very slim, black tight jeans, a long white t-shirt, hanging out from his biker leather jacket. He draped a long wide loose black scarf around his neck and had on a pair of classic black sunglasses. His hair matched his outfit, with all over black hair, high on the front of his head, he had a piece of white hair in the front, very unique.

10 - 30 - 10 The tall, thin black guy outside of Grand Central Station was very model-like, even when he posed for my camera and dressed in classic black velvet blazer, a white collarless shirt under it, black tight pants. He also had on a pair of large aviator mirrored sunglasses, showing off a great pair of cheekbones and loved his hair, which was combed back and into a tight hanging braid. He carried two tote bags. Walking over to Javits Center a saw a guy standing outside of a building with piercings on this lips,under his lip and thru his nose, along with two large holes in his ears, holding small round disc earrings and shaved hair, except for some on the top of his head. He was dressed all in black, had white graphic design on his black t-shirt and black wrap around sunglasses. A heavy metal look.

10 - 24 - 10 Outside Grand Central Station, stood a handsome, tall black guy with black wrap around sunglasses on and said he was originally from the island of Jamaica and now living in NJ.
His large belt buckle stood out on his jeans, along with his oversize watch with diamonds on his wrist and large ring to go with it. Had orange shoe laces on his white sneakers, matching the orange stripe in his cotton shirt, under his short black jacket.

10 - 23 - 100 Walking near the library on 42nd St. near Fifth Avenue and standing by the wall, I took the guy's photo who was "the man in black" from head to toe. Wearing a black cap, black framed glassed, diamond star earrings in both ears, thin black leather jacket and black jeans. Over by 39th & 9th Avenue was a guy in aviator sunglasses, his hair was closely shaved at the sides, wearing a white graphic t-shirt and tight jeans. The next guy who came by in the exact same place was his scarf that caught my eye and how he worn it loosely around his neck, dark sunglasses and a t-shirt with large GT letters on it, baggy jeans and spoke with an accent and nice tousled hair. Walking around in Hell's Kitchen flea market was a guy with an interesting pair of sunglasses, which looked like one-piece of plastic that wrapped across his eyes, a black dot of an earring, red tight jeans tucked into his boots, a sweater tied around his waist and wore a loose fitting 3/4 sleeve sweater, over his graphic black t-shirt. The next guy in the flea market was cartoonishy-dressed. One couldn't miss him, a stand out amongst the crowd. He wore very round, oversized framed glasses, multi-colored pants, red graphic t-shirt, multi-colored zippered front cotton jacket and light blue, high top converse sneakers.

10 - 3- 10 Walking near Herald Square, 34th St., sitting at one of the tables was a cool guy with a cotton scarf tied around his forehead, exposing his curly hair. I asked him to stand by the statue where I noticed his black converse sneakers, tight jeans, white zippered-front sweatshirt with a black & white plaid scarf, tucked in around his neck. He said his name was David.

Further on 34th St., the black guy was neatly dressed in a tailored suit jacket, white shirt under it, baggy worn-in jeans with a thick scarf around his neck and wireless, clear eyeglasses.

The guy who told me he was visiting from London was near 5th Ave. & 34th St. he wore a white ruffled, front shirt, black pants and a black beret on his head that sat on top, looking like a dinner plate.

9 - 20 - 10 At the corner of 42nd & Madison, the guy walking towards me, was picture-ready. He wore a vest, white shirt with the sleeves rolled up, shoulder bad and his pants were tapered down at the ankles. Very stylish. The punkish-looking guy in front of Grand Central Station, had the hood from his black sweatshirt, over his head, facial hair, full arm tattoos and smoked his cigarette, while I photographed him.

9 - 18 - 10 Walking thru Times Square, a guy caught my eye, since his hairstyle was worn with shaved sides and his dark, dark black hair was piled high on top of his head. He wore a red sweatshirt, gray work-out pants, striped t-shirt and turquoise sneakers. The Japanese guy at the corner of 42nd St. & 6th, had on a blue & white striped cardigan cotton sweater and plaid shorts and carried a large leather sachel bag. I noticed another oriental guy, further down on 42nd St. St, dressed in a dark suit, clack t-shirt under his jacket, wore sandals and his dark hair was tied back in a ponytail.
